After nearly 20 years in the classroom, Dawn decided to leave teaching to pursue her goal of becoming a lactation consultant. This idea came from the immeasurable help she received from an IBCLC when she had difficulty breastfeeding her first daughter. As she left the appointment, Dawn told her husband, “That woman is an angel, and I want to be an angel one day.” In addition to their 3 daughters, the Grahams have hosted numerous international exchange students over the years who each remain extended members of the family. Dawn tries to stay active, and in her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, cooking, and sharing a good meal.
